A figurehead in the island's cycling industry, Winners Edge offers the full package: sales, accessories and equipment, bike fitting and a full service department. Founded in 1992, our love of cycling has led to the development of a customer base ranging from Bermuda's most devoted competitive cyclists to recreational riders and active, growing families.

Owned and operated by Greg Hopkins and Paulo Medeiros, the shop is a labour of love born out of only seven bicyles and a handful of equipment. Innovative and determined, over the years the pair have transformed their passion into one of the most successful cycling shops on island. A longtime bike mechanic, Paulo managed Wheels Limited while Greg, a teaching police officer in the Police training school, raced in Bermuda and internationally as a competitive triathlete. They met when Paulo sponsored Greg through Wheels Limited, and was the only mechanic trusted to work on his bike. The rest is history.

Over the years, Winners Edge has flourished. Originally situated in the Imperial Hotel building on Church Street, it was relocated to busy Front Street in 2004. With the move came an increase in size from 8,000 to 16,000 square feet, the addition of an office and workshop, and increasing popularity as Bermuda's top bike shop! Around 8 years ago they were joined by top cyclist Dominique Mayho, who has become an integral part of the business. Their part-time staff are all young, enthusiastic cyclists who share the same passion as the owners.
